Authenticity of Roman coin??

Hello Brad and welcome to the forum.

The photo that has posted looks like an authentic Roman coin to me from the late third century. I'd wager Claudius II from the reverse alone. I personally (and other forum users too probably) won't feel safe clicking the download link to the dng file. Try and post those images the same way the first one and I'll be able to say with a bit more certainty.

That is an outstanding portrait!

VCoins and MA-Shops are two marketplace sites that host many different dealers. There's hundreds of thousands of coins listed there from ancient to modern, and any dealer who wants to sell there has to guarantee authenticity of their wares so you're pretty safe.

Could anyone also point me in the right direction of other reputable websites?

I have a web page about reputable ancient-coin dealers:
http://augustuscoins.com/ed/dealers.html

Every once in a while I check to see that they are still in business and occasionally someone suggests I add in another dealer's site. I solicit suggestions; web sites are easy to change.
