Amarmur Posted June 11 · Member Share Posted June 11 Hi I'm looking for some id help on some Greek coins mostly bronzes. Will give the proper thanks. 1. Drachm Pegasus likely Corinth or that region. Fairly light like 3 grams and a bit smaller than a us dime 2. Syria Tyche tripod. Looks like it was made by either Romans or late Seleucid 3. Athena and Victory seated ?? Kinda lost on this one 4. Tiny bronze not sure the reverse looks weird like some kind of amphora 5. Tyche and Athena looks Seleucid by the style 6. Thick Seleucid coin. Appears like a woman and probably Zeus seated on the reverse. 7. Parthian late drachm Volgasses IV? 8. Thessaly ? bronze Athena in attack position
ACCLA-Mike Posted June 13 · Member Share Posted June 13 Coin 7 is a drachm of Sellwood's Osroes II - Sellwood 85.3. An easy tell to distinguish Sellwood's Vologases IV and Osroes II is that his Vologases IV has 3 diadem ties behind while Osroes II has 4 diadem ties (as seen in your coin).
